The Alzheimer’s Face Off presented by Christenson Communities Ltd. is an Edmonton-based tournament that pairs hockey enthusiasts with some of their favorite NHL Alumni. This fun-filled weekend event focuses on raising funds to enable the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories to continue to provide help for today through free education programs and support services for those living with dementia and their families and hope for tomorrow through research initiatives happening right here in Alberta.

April 22nd

Draft Night – The highlight of the weekend for many, this high-energy event replicates the NHL Draft as the top money-making teams draft their favorite player to play alongside their team for the weekend. April 23rd & 24th

Alzheimer’s Face Off Hockey Tournament presented by Christenson Communities Ltd. – Participants play alongside their drafted NHL Alumni in a friendly hockey tournament at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre.

Did you know that in Canada, 564,000 individuals are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias – in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, over 50,000 people have a dementia diagnosis. The Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories is there to help at every stage of the journey for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
