Edmonton Convention Centre

The Edmonton Convention Centre participates in the Covid-19 Restriction Exemption Program. The following protocols are in place at the Convention Centre and shall apply to all event patrons and participants:

  • Proof of full vaccination (two doses) is required, with the second at least 14 days prior to the event, or
  • Negative COVID-19 test that is Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR or lab-based PCR tests completed within 72 hours, or
  • Formal documentation of a medical exemption as defined on the Alberta government’s COVID-19 public health actions | Alberta.ca site.

Terwillegar Recreation Centre

The City of Edmonton is adopting the Government of Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program.

Everyone age 12 and older visiting a City recreation centre, arena or attraction is required to provide proof of COVID-19 full vaccination, proof of a medical exemption, or a recent negative test result completed within 72 hours.

As of November 15, only QR codes or First Nation or Canadian Armed Forces vaccine records will be accepted for proof of vaccination. For more see Edmonton.ca/COVID-19.
